How to Connect Speaker to a Monitor

If you’re having trouble connecting a speaker to a monitor, there are several options to try. You can purchase a display port cable to connect two speakers, or you can connect an external speaker using a stereo audio aux cord.

Alternatively, you can use an HDMI cable to output audio from a computer or other device. Depending on the type of monitor you have, you may need an adapter to make this work.

Connecting a monitor to an external speaker is easy. However, you need to follow a set of steps to get the best results.

The first thing you need to do is turn on the computer and the monitor. After that, you can connect the speaker to the back of the monitor. Many monitors come with a speaker on/off button. To access the port on the back, tilt the monitor upwards.

Once you’ve connected the speaker to the monitor, you can test the sound. This is an easy way to determine whether the connection is working properly. Test by playing music or a video with a soundtrack.

You should be able to adjust the volume and select the playback devices. Before you do this, though, you’ll want to ensure that the volume isn’t too low.

If you have multiple devices, you can set them all to send audio to the monitor. Normally, you’ll need to choose one of them as your default speakers. Select this option by clicking the “Set Default” button.
