How to Blend Two Images in Photoshop

If you want to blend two photos in Photoshop, there are a few techniques you can use. The most common technique involves using the layer mask tool, but you can also experiment with other tools.

To begin, you need to open the photo files you want to merge in Photoshop. Make sure the images are the same size and resolution. You can either resize your canvas or move one of the images to the edge of the canvas.

After the photo files are in Photoshop, you should open the Layers panel. Click on the layer you want to blend.

Next, click the Move Tool. This tool is a great option for blending layers in Photoshop. It lets you move the images you are blending into the document. However, this tool limits your movements so you can’t change the direction of the movement.

Once you have moved the image to the edge of the document, you can then merge the layers. Using the Blend Modes you have selected, you can adjust the overall look of the merged image.

In addition to Blend Modes, you can also use opacity. This can make your merged image look more realistic. Adding shadows can also make the blended picture more realistic.

Another method is to use the Eraser tool. With this tool, you can select and erase areas of the image. Afterwards, you can change the opacity of the top layer to soften the results of the blending process.
